In Today's Economy, What Franchises Are Hot and Under $50,000?

In my consulting business, I have hundreds of requests for business opportunities or Franchises. Some requests are for work from home, or others the traditional type of business. The most requested franchise opportunity,  is the ones that are affordable and under $50,000.00.

The reasons we need franchises or businesses under $50,0000.00,  are that most of us want to go into business, but can't get the banks to finance us. The second reason is that we have cash and a 401K available, and those funds are not unlimited.

I have found that misconceptions can also be an obstacle. The most common misconception is we think that if we only invest $20k-$50K, that are income will not match our expectations. That is absolutely a myth. The amount of money you invest has very little to do with your success. Your success has everything with your effort, passion and the model or concept you choose.

We all know that financing a new business in todays market has become an adventure. Most entrepreneurs today are having to form partnerships or use their own funds. I am not a partnership fan, as they can be tough to manage. My suggestion to you, is, to find a business that you can do, enjoy and self fund. Self fund means cash, credit cards or a combination. Another way to get usable funds is to use your 401K. There are ways to convert the 401K into capital today, without penalties or creating tax burdens. 401K conversions is for another day.

The businesses or franchises that I would like to suggest today are the following.

1. Office lease auditing and Facility expense management. Over 80% of all tenants of commercial space are overcharged by their landlord. These overcharges are typically not done on purpose. Your job would be to advise and facilitate the process with your client, and a supporting company such as Amcorp Management will do the back office work. You will be paid a fee after you obtain money for your client. All work is done by you on a contingency basis. Investment = Under $40,000.00

2. Expense management businesses. Finding errors on Workman's comp, Insurance and utility bills are common. You can share with the client after you find errors and save the business money. Investment = Under $8,000

3. After Care programs for children. In any economy, Children and Pet type Franchises seem to weather the storm. How would you like to find a part time business with little overhead, work from home and have the chance to earn an extra $1000 per week. The best part is you work with" Legos". This type of business, works well for stay at home moms.  You can work with children and teach them engineering  and other skills part time, 5-10 hours per week.  Investment = Under $20,000.00

4. Green businesses or those that are Green in Nature. Commercial applications or home applications. There are many to choose from. Investment = Under $20,000.00

You can see there are great categories of businesses to choose from. You can invest a modest amount, and turn it into a profitable thriving franchise. Franchises offer a model or system that has experience. Franchises offer training and support to help you with Success. Statistically, Franchises offer you the largest percentage of success. Take some time and do your due diligence. Ultimately, it is up to you. Thank you.

I have helped dozens of aspiring entrepreneurs find the right business for as little as $2000.00 up to $20,000.00. I have also seen many of them achieve 6 figure incomes. It is time for you to find your own success path. It is up to you how successful your new business will be. You receive the help, but provide the effort. Get on the wave of business ownership. The days of finding a job and staying there for 40 years and then retiring are over. Take control of your destiny today.
